"proxy" (2024)

the life of a modern person unfolds amidst rich technical systems, whose internal workings are unknown to us. this encryption holds the potential to imagine what is hidden within technology. when technology functions successfully, it is invisible to us, but it's true face emerges when errors and flaws arise. this is what i aim to do with my project "proxy" - to create a world from the moment when technology crashes. "proxy" consists of four videos created by me in collaboration with kalli talonpoika, who created the sound for the videos.

"linkrüpt" (2023)

is a series of digital prints that depict moments and thoughts from my childhood through fantasy, mostly dealing with pain and feelings of abandonment.
i used ms paint for these childlike depictions of memories, that mix with the current trauma that i now endure.

"doppelganger domain"(2024)

consists of 2 videos, both of them utilizing 3d scans of keskturg. it is a digital dissolution depicting the platonic intimacy between post-soviet architectural structures, exploring the emotional and historical layers embedded within the market's physical and social fabric.
the future is algorithmically generated fruits and vegetables.
transcending mere replication, the exhibition presents keskturg as a living, evolving concept in cyberspace.

"cache" (2023)

inspired by dreams of void highways and faraway factories, powerlines that span forever into nothingness. a walking simulator and digital art gallery. home to petrified monsters, former denizens of this domain. abandoned by their master, they turned into stone from sadness. but there is still hope, one has survived.

surreal yearning for connection. appetite that cannot be satiated. schematics leading to true love or hatred.

im cold
i tried to reach my tongue into warmth, but the warmth was on the other side of the horizon.
everytime i reached further and further, the horizon moved farther and farther away.i swam over the horizon and they were gone. only me shaking. the waves beat my limbs, the winged ones laughed at me.
ever since i was a child, i had always been small. the tail never came as well. in the spiritual lesson i always fell of the beam and everybody clapped.they flew over my head and poured down warm, smoldering aluminum slop. my mouth was wide open, my teeth were screaming, my tongue was singing sweet arias.my throat was in line with the horizon and cold water penetrated it again. i floated to shore, their name in my mouth.the rocks were soft and ambivalent towards me. i didnt really care for them either.the winged ones sat on 11-1=10 pine trees, the last one dead already. but they were the biggest. i had loved them for 11 years, before we didnt get along. they gave me my name.the road winding through the pine trees ended at the letter x.
x looked at me and threw me with a red rock.
their gaze was fearful, but curious. i made a word of them. that word ran away devastated.i felt the need to cry. hot tears ran down my cool cheeks, my face turning red. and then my eyebrows. and then my hair, ears, neck, hands, legs, toes, fingers, stomach and back.you picked me up and put me with the others. spiraling, i got mixed up. i turned into us. us turned into friend. friend turned into stranger.
stranger turned invisible.
